Dr. Money is an amazing and caring doctor. I have been caring for my Mom for approximately 12 years. During those 12 years we have seen many doctors and many of them have not truly taken the time to help and properly diagnose my mother. Dr. Money was a breadth of fresh air. We met with Dr. Money because my Mom all of the sudden stopped walking and had become very weak. She took the time to fully understand what was going on with my mother and took the time to talk to me and ask very detailed questions. In one meeting, she was able to identify what was causing my Mom’s inability to walk and suggested some medication changes. Within a day of implementing Dr. Money’s recommendations my Mom started gaining her strength and began walking. I am glad to report that my Mom is walking again and it is so much stronger. Dr. Money has been great, and she has followed up with us to ensure Mom continues to be Ok. I truly wish all Doctors were like Dr. Money and truly cared that much about their patients and caregivers.             Dr. Money is an angel. I went to her for years until she retired from regular practice.  I have been to too many doctors in the last 6 or more months with the same nondescript symptoms - all to no avail.

Dr. Money has saved the life of my wife 2 times. The first time was because the hospital provided the wrong amount of drugs on her release. The second time because she was being poisoned by a long time proscribed drug, in concert with undiagnosed Lyme disease and possibly a new diabetes drug. For many past years my wife and I have been patients of Dr. Mary E. Money. When the coronavirus developed, she continued to provide excellent care through telemedicine.  In 2021, we decided to return to seeing one of the providers in the office in person.

Unfortunately, I developed a major illness and had to be hospitalized.  The providers at the hospital were not sure what was causing my problems, and although it temporarily improved, I continued to struggle with a lot of stomach issues.  The specialist that I saw left me confused as to what the best course of action might be, indicating that to do a colonoscopy might not provide the answer and would be potentiality too dangerous.

I finally asked to be referred to an oncologist and when the nurse provider I had been seeing in the office informed Dr. Money of my concerns, she contacted me immediately, reviewed all of my records and recommended a clear course of action to identify the cause of my symptoms. With her attentiveness, I was able to have addition tests that demonstrated that I probably needed surgery.  She personally contacted the surgeon who was able to see me the same day.  He was very helpful and recommended an agreed upon a colonoscopy before any surgery.  The colonoscopy was successfully performed and demonstrated that I needed surgery. 

Dr. Money is an effective, caring and knowledgeable internist. If you have issues, fears or unanswered questions about medical problems she can help with a thoughtful, analytic, and well-reasoned probable diagnosis or explanation. 

Several years ago, while living in Maryland, I had a sore and distressing chronic upper chest digestion issue. My wife and I believed very strongly that it was an ulcer or a serious acid reflux condition. (I drank cold water, avoided pizza and spices, and took OTC acid medicines to control my discomfort.) After several months, I discussed these symptoms with Dr. Money. Although the EKG was normal, based upon the history alone, she urged me to do further diagnostic testing with a treadmill test for a possible heart condition. (I thought that this was “off base” since I was a non-smoker, not overweight, and had no symptoms of heart disease.)

However, to my surprise and well-being, she was 100% correct! I failed the stress test, and was diagnosed with an almost 99% blockage resolved by angioplasty a week later. Detailed history is extremely important and Dr. Money is excellent in her ability to diagnose problems that are not occurring when you are in a doctor’s office. I highly recommend her for telehealth consultations.

Dr. Mary E. Money has been my Primary Care Physician for over 40 years! Over these many years she has provided outstanding medical care. I have received compassionate and skilled guidance for a variety of medical conditions. Each medical condition has been approached by using a logical thought process of gathering information and applying her expert knowledge to establish a pathway for diagnosing the issue. Her medical guidance over these years has kept me in good health and I feel I have received medical care from one of the best internal medicine practitioners in our area! I was recently put into a situation where I needed Dr. Money’s expertise to understand whether I should travel 3 hours to see my 91-year-old sister who was in the hospital. I had received information from my sister-in-law that she had several medical conditions. I was not even able to pronounce Clostridium Difficile or hydronephrosis, much less understand whether they were life threatening. Dr. Money was able to explain what these terms meant, and that they probably did not reflect a life-threatening condition. I cannot begin to explain what a relief that was and how much time it saved me from trying to read about them on the internet. This is a great service to everyone, not only for their own medical concerns, but to obtain clarity when dealing with loved ones who may be out of town. Her explanation was clear and concise, and I highly recommend her consultation service.

I first met Dr. Money in my early 20's. I was referred to her by another doctor because he could not figure out why I was experiencing dizziness. Dr. Money quickly diagnosed my problem. After that, I was her patient for over 40 years. My parents and my sister were also patients and received excellent care. You will not find a better diagnostician or a more caring physician!!
